Lamp Still Life by Miomiyo
This is my futile attempt at painting a still life. And I pretty much gave up on the tissue box. Actually the lamp in real life was a lot more intricate, but it was too much for me to handle >.<
Anyone got any advice?

that looks real good but i can tell its unfinished :) my advice is finish it

My only advice would be to make more interesting marks on the wall in the background. You could create a textured effect, or maybe just make abstract lines. Also the angle of the base of the lamp is slightly off. Love the tissue box and the lamp, as well as the reflections on the table, I wouldn't change any of them
