#PariZade #PhuContests #Mitenbite
Yooooo I need to stop entering random contests my hand can't handle this.
This species is called Mitenbite, and consists of two subspecies, Mites and Bites.
Mites are small, weak creatures that usually live near bodies of water, with the appearence of a young female child. They have gills on the back of their necks to allow them to breathe in water, and lungs that allow them to breathe in air.

Mites, on their own, are for the most part defenseless.
That's where the Bites come in.
Each Mite has a corresponding Bite, a ginormous water creature. Bites are able to kill prey and predators and get meat for their Mite.
Now Mites benefit Bites in a way as well. Mites can be used as a form of bait to attract the Bites' victims. Think of the Mites as the light on those freaky lanturn fishies with the sharp teeth.
Mites can also purify watet, which is fairly useful.
Mitenbites don't usually have names, but the bond between a Mite and her Bite is absolutely unbreakable. Which is sometimes detrimental if a Mite finds herself to be useless in most common tasks like hunting.
I'm calling this Mitenbite in particular Ada [Mite] and Ev [Bite].
Mites can choose whether or not she wants a certain creature dead or not. Mites are very curious creatures, so if someone interests them, they will follow them, treating the person as their "thing". Once the Mite gets bored, however, she will-

-simply allow the Bite to kill them for food.
The main or one of the almost-main characters could possibly interest Ada, causing her to join them.
Or at least follow them.
Whether or not she gets bored with them is up to the guy in charge here! ^v^'
Alrighty, if there are any questions, then feel free to ask away!

Oh right! One more thing!
Bites themselves have no real "form". They're mostly water, except for their eyes.
Bites will travel with their Mites in the earth. A Mite can easily be identified by the damp ground or puddle that seems to travel with her.

cool, so, if they're basically genderless, does that mean that the mite only resembles a certain gender? interesting! :]
