Gosh, henestly when I first saw this post I had no idea how I could help. The situation is really crazy X''V
I'll try my best to offer some advice, but if it's stupid, then sorry X'P
If you keep with the decition to not come out untill a while longer, then by the time you do, I don't think they'll remember a little "joke" from before. I mean, even if you said it to a group of people, jokes can sometimes get lost in the croud. I find myself scowling over the stupidest embarising things I did when I was younger when the other person probably forgot that whole event even happened.
I'm not saying that because of this mishap you should wait a few years before coming out for real (please don't that's a horrid idea X'''D), but you yourself keep saying you want to wait a while, so by the time you do I'd think they wouldn't care about that one little joke... :/
And if they do care, you can just say it was a slip up, and that you didn't feel comfortable saying it then. :P
