Solaris is not based on any animal in particular in terms of his R.o.S. design.

Solaris is one of the 4 main villains in Rebellion of Silver.

Although he is a different being than Soleanna's Solaris entirely, the creation of Kokonoe's Solaris alone was enough to cease a time distortion that was blocking all memory of the Solaris from Soleanna.

To add to it, he is bent on completing her mission assigned to him.
