Hey dude! Remember when you said you wish you could create your own 3DS themes? Well, I have some great news for you about that! You actually can if you homebrew your 3DS! In case you don't know what that is, it's basically hacking it to allow you to play games from other regions, use emulators, make 3DS themes and use unofficial software. Just look up "homebrew launcher tubehax" on YouTube and there are videos telling you how! It might be confusing for some, so be sure to watch and read carefully if you want to homebrew yourself.
It's actually surprisingly easy to make the themes though, if you have some experience with files, applications and stuff like that, that is. I made a theme based on ChuChu from Kirby's Dream Land 3 yesterday, and I'm planning on making a Watok, Kirby Animal Friends and Unagi the Eel one.

Or wait, you actually said you wish you could change the background. You can still use the theme editor to simply change the background too, if you'd like that, but making complete themes is more fun, though it takes time.
Also be sure to look up tutorials on how to make themes too, because it isn't as simple as fixing homebrew. You have to download some things too.
