i originally drew this 2 days after she died but i didnt know she was dead till later on. wierd.

Oh, she passed away last week. I don't pay attention to these things like I probably ought to.
Reply: Actually, the weekly challenge winner is determined by quality, originality, and legitimacy. As long as the entry is relevant to the topic and isn't a repost, it has a chance to win. Sure, experienced artists have a greater chance of winning, but really it's fair game for even the newest artists here. Just keep an eye on the topic. If it's something you feel confident with, why not? Even if you didn't win, it's still fun sometimes. And who knows, maybe it'll inspire another great idea.
