They change form depending on the weather condition.
They are born to only change depending on ONE weather condition.
For example, this Waiyra changes to its altered form only when it's sunny.

Their altered forms usually keep the same design as their normal ones, save for a few pattern additions and white glowing eyes. They gain attributes from their weather condition [for sun it's narrowed eyes to see clearer and thicker paw pads to run on hot ground].

In their normal forms, Waiyras have bat-like ears and a long tail. Their design does not have to relate to their destined weather condition, but it usually does have some sort of relation. Waiyras cannot have pure white or pitch black fur or eyes in their normal form.

They are very harmless creatures in their normal form. When in their altered form, they are gentle unless provoked, in which they attack.

Waiyras can be either carnivores or herbivores. Carnivore Waiyras are stronger, [cont.]
