You are an amazing artist. Your talent is definitely worth money. You should sell prints if you dont already. Have you considered 3ds paintings? You'd get lots of love. : )
Hi saaytin and thanx, no Ive never considered printing and selling, although a lot of people have suggested it to me. My answer has always been I only do it for fun really, i stopped painting years ago, I loved painting with soft pastels and occasional oil paint, mainly pastels where I'd sit in a tent in snowdonia painting the welch landscape I love so much, I have a 3d painting almost done but havnt gone back to it yet, I'm stuck on it at the minute lol thx again :)
Gaz Gaz Gaz how many times have I said you could sell your paintings, like I've said before there masterpieces I have 5 framed and hung up in my front passageway to which everyone who comes in comments how spectacular they are, all of which needs your personal signature before you start selling (wink wink) LOL... Think I'm getting your problem of loose jaw syndrome because mines just hit the floor to lol, the detail again is beyond anything I've seen here on colors fantastic job and LOOKING FORWARD to your 3D drawing like you say no PRESSURE LOL :D*
Thanx Micky, what a great compliment, that's so cool that u have some of my art on ur wall :)), did u keep them miniature or blow them up? I've never printed any as yet, I def will go back to the 3D and do some more art on it, i have still got 2 paints to finish yet one on I pad and one on I phone, very pleased with the I phone one which I shall be posting soon, keep em peeled think you'll like this one:)
Ha ha good job our hobby is painting and not boxing with our jaws Eh ! Lol :))
Eyes are peeled and propped open with match sticks until your next post lol... I blew your pics up slightly using photoshop to 7x5in any higher and they start to pixelate then I used a noise filter adjusting the brightness etc and hey presto I have a perfect size print to fit a 7x5 photo frame :D
Hey gaz even tho the gallery is getting raped by anine nintendo fan art. I think the gallery diserves more of your art. Theres an update on colors that might happen that will allow you to subscribe to your your favorite artist!
Hi Senco, I can't seem to get on with the 3Ds, it just somehow doesnt feel natural to me, I will get round to doing something on it, like yourself I'm not really to bothered about 3d painting it's not where I want to head, i want to stay will traditional, altho I do think some of the 3d paintings r fantastic, altho I belive a lot r traced,
Upgrade to your fav artists would be great, your art would def be on mine, :))
Gaz bell, thank you for commenting on my work. Your landscapes are absolutely lovely. Although I draw in an anime-like style, I find it quite offending to see how much junk is being posted on the 3D gallery in the name of anime. It would be nice if there were more artists on the 3D gallery that are as much a credit to the craft as SENCO and you are.
Thank you for the kind comment Eclair, I do have a 3D system but couldn't get on with painting on it, so ended up sticking with my faithfull old I phone, Although I think the 3D is great it's not personally where I want to go with my art, I know senco uses the layers but not the 3d, maybe I need to have another play around with it, as for the junk on the gallery i think maybe we have to remember the Nintendo 3D is also a great toy for a lot of kids, thx again :)
Where do you learn to do this!? I've done so many internet searches, watched so many speedpaints, and I still can't figure out painting! I've taught myself to do every other drawing style, but this is just not clicking. Please help!
Hi zoogrrl, sorry I havnt replied sooner I've only just read your comment, well I'm thinking do you mean where did I learn to paint ?or where did I learn to paint in the style I paint in ? Before I was introduced to digital painting I painted in soft pastels, mainly landscapes, some portrait and big cats on occasion, every thing I've learned so far has been from many books and a lot of trial and error , for me the key really was just good old fashioned practice and lots of it, watching the replays on colors for me was a great help, as for my style of painting, it just developed naturally as I practiced , I mainly paint from imagination and a lot of times to kick start it off ill just blindly scribble and throw color about until something comes to me or I may see something in the scribble and build on that, digital painting allows you to experiment endlessly and I use this freedom to full advantage as painting from my imagination leaves me free to try anything , there are some brilliant artists on here who I'm sure would be happy to give you tips and advice :) thank you for your comment and likes :)
