Eric was left at an orphanage before Navy. He was teased for his eyes and hair.
When Navy came along, her parents didnt want her because she was 'following her own lies'. What were these lies? That the world was going corrupt. Children are starving. That her parents were bad parents.
Eventually Eric and Navy both became friends and went to public school.
To sum it up, Eric gets in a lot of trouble that Navy has to fix.
