luke can also be very nosey and always wants to know what's going on in his friends' lives (mostly to see if they're doing okay, but not unless they absolutely don't want to talk about something. he's not much of a person to force things out of a person). because of his mentor's nature, he is subconsciously smooth, but whenever he catches himself doing something smooth, he mostly just sits in a corner and contemplates his life choices lmao. he is also surprisingly resilient in most cases and isn't one to dwell on the past much. luke also loves seeing people happy, especially his older brother. he is also terrified of dragons, and just mentioning one can bring up extremely bad memories for him (he's trying to overcome that fear, though). he is also very comfortable with wearing "feminine" clothing.

a bit of backstory:
before his parents died, luke lived on a farm with his family. his father, rande*, would entertain him and his brother by putting on his wife's old wedding dress and dancing around. meanwhile his mother, laura, a former dancer, became luke's biggest inspiration in life and would often pester her to teach him to dance. she only taught him one dance in the time that she was alive, and that dance remains his favorite even to this day. when his parents died by the hands of a dragon, he tried to pull his mother and father out of the rubble along with vance, but to no avail. laura gave her headband to luke before telling both of them to get out of the house, which they both sadly complied. luke was only 7 at the time.
for the next seven years, he was raised by vance and practiced his dancing every day. one of laura's friends, a plegian dancer, offered to mentor luke in dancing. he happily accepted, but not without some protests from vance (although he came around in the end).
luke then spent five years travelling around plegia under his mentor and her rather strict methods. since she was also travelling with a band of mercenaries, luke also learned how to fight.
and then he met up with vance after those five years and now everything's all happy yay

- the headband he wears is his most prized possession.
- the five years he spent in plegia gave him a serious tan, thus making him darker than his brother.
- his reclass options are the mercenary and myrmidon trees
- he loves singing, and often sings out loud.
- he also likes physical contact (with his consent ofc), and likes it when people play with his hair.
- this has been stated before but he's pansexual lmao
