Anyways, here's the #Randie dream I had last night:

(It was like Romeo & Juliet... kinda...
I was Revo Montegue, and she was Candie Capulet.)

So...
Right.
*Claps hands*
The start.

We met in a meadow picking flowers (her for a family member, me for a funeral), and we didn't know that we were from rival familys.

So after a couple moments of awkward silence, we start a conversation. It was originally just a simple "Lovely weather, isn't it?" Then we talked about the flowers and shiz. As the sun set, I asked her if we could meet again (in the meadow), and invited her for a picnic.

We parted that day as friends, not knowing each other's names.

So we meet up again the next day. I spread the blanket out and place the picnic basket on it.
Before we ate I laughed a little and said "You know, it just occured to me. Here we are on a... date? Anyways, here we are, and we don't even know each other's name."

She responded simply.
"Well I'm Adriana. Adriana Capulet."

I dropped the sandwich that was in my hands as my mouth hung wide open.
"That's... You're joking, right?"
"Um... No."
"You can't be a Capulet!"
"What makes you think that?"
"I don't hate you!"

She jumped back a few feet.
"You're.... A Montegue!"

I sighed.
"Yes, that I am."

She laughed.
"Sucks to be you."

I got angry.
"What?! I take pride in my blood, lady! How dare you insult my family name!"

At that point I pounced at her and pinned her to the ground.
"YOU BETTER EXPLAIN YOURSELF, LADY!"

She explained.
"Our familes have been feuding for generations. I don't even know what for. I'm not sure anybody knows. All I know is that your family started it, and it's your family's stubborn-ness that is the reason it hasn't ended."

I relaxed a little (still sitting on her chest).

She stared at me.
"...and what has your family said about the Capulets."

I thought about it for a long time before she grew impatient.
"Well...?"

Nothing.
My mind was blank.
I never had a reason to hate the Capulets.
All I knew was that my family hated them, and therefore, so did I.

She saw the lost expression on my face and smirked.
"You've got nothing, do you? Ha! I told you it's your family's fault!"

I teared up a little as I started to run away, trying to reject the truth.
"It's not like I asked to be a part of a blood-thirsty family!"

She watched me run off into the distance with a sad look on her face.

...

I ran into her while shopping at the market the next day.
As she walked by, I muttered
"Oh look. There's the Capulet who broke my heart. I guess that's all they're good for."

She taunted me, asking for a fight. Being the thick-headed fool I was, I fell for it, and chased her into an empty allyway.

As I entered the allyway, she was nowhere to be seen.
I cautiously walked to the end of the ally, when she finnaly appeared, behind me.

I was cornered and defenseless up against a wall. I figured she was going to kiIl me. She leaned close and whispered "Finally, we are alone."

She nuzzled up against me.
I hugged her, blushing, unsure of what was going on.

She broke the silence.
"You never said goodbye after our date yesterday, you silly Montegue!"

I was shocked (and still not sure of what was happening).
She continued.
"Come on. No need to be shy about it. We can talk. I know you like me."

I finally mustered up the courage to speak.
"I do... but... But I thought yesterday was goodbye. I mean, we can't really date if you're a Capulet and I'm a Montegue."

She leaned in closer for a kiss.
"Silly Montegue! Nobody said that!"

We continued to date in secret for months to come.

One day at dinner my mother asked why I looked distracted.
I panniced. "Oh, it's nothing!"

My brother laughed.
"Ha ha ha! Little bro's got a crush!"

I blushed.
"Shut up, bro!"

My parents were happy for me.
"Oh, you've got a crush? Why don't you tell us about her?"

I scratched the back of my head.
"Oh... well... Let's just simply put it that she's a girl I want to marry."

My parents looked at each other.
"Well, you are old enough. So if you know what your heart wants, then go for it!"

I was estatic.
"Really? Thanks guys! I'm going to go for it! You're the best!"

The next day I proposed to Adriana, not knowing that my overly-curious brother was spying on me to find out who my girlfriend was.

The Capulet family attended our wedding, though Adriana's father looked away in shame as I approached the alter.

My family did not attend.

They were busy conspiring by candlelight.

My brother plunged a dagger through a picture of me.
"DISOWN THAT CHILD! HE DARES BETRAY HIS FAMILY NAME?"

My parents were unhappy.
My mother spoke.
"That sick, sick boy. We should've smuthered out his little heart when he was a baby! To think our son would be sick enough to date a Capulet."

My father responded.
"You're the one who told him to follow his heart!"

My mother sighed
"I never should've done that."

My brother chimed in.
"There's only one thing we can do now..."

They all spoke in unison.
"We kiIl him!"

They all grabbed crossbows, and waited for me to return home.

After the wedding, Adriana and I started walking towards my place.
As we drew near, an arrow landed in the dirt only feet away from my wife.

I looked up and saw my brother. He yelled down to me.
"Get away you filthy Capulet."

I yelled back.
"It's okay, we're married now!"

He shot me in the arm.
"WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!"

"That was a warning shot, you filthy swine! Now get lost and never come back, less you'll regret it!"

I gritted my teeth and inched forward. He shot another arrow that barely missed my skull.

Unable to move any closer without giving him an easy target, I yelled at the top of my lungs.
"I'LL NEVER FORGET THIS! IF THIS IS WHAT YOU STUPID MONTEGUES DO TO THOSE WHO FOLLOW THEIR HEART, THEN I'M GLAD TO BE A CAPULET!"
He shot again. I kept yelling.
"MARK MY WORDS BROTHER! YOU WILL RUE THE DAY YOU MESSED WITH ME AND THE WHOLE CAPULET FAMILY!"

He fired another arrow, again nearly kiIling me.

Unable to stay any longer, I took Adriana's hand and ran away.

We ran to her household.

Her family was reluctant to invite us in, but eventually caved in and let us enter.
Her father scorned her over dinner.
"What were you thinking, marrying a Montegue? Don't you kn..."

I interrupted him.
"A Montegue no more! I'm sick of those hard-headed moronic bast.ards! I don't ever want to be associated with them again!"

He was stunned.
"You hate your own family?"

I snapped
"I SAID NOT TO ASSOCIATE ME WITH THEM! I'M A CAPULET NOW, WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT!"

He sighed.
"As much as it pains me to do so... Welcome to the family............. son."

Everyone was silent at the dinner table. The tension was so thick you could taste it.

Eventually Adriana spoke.
"Isn't it about time we ended this family strife?"

I facepalmed.
"Darling, you saw what they did when they found out we were married. Those stubborn fools won't give up this stupid battle of theirs until they are dead."

Her father spoke.
"I hoped it wouldn't come to this. But if what you say is true, then the only way we can end this conflict is with a bloody war, and the slaughtering of one of our families."

I muttered under my breath.
"They deserve it."

We all looked at each other, but nobody dared say what came next.

Her father finally said it.
"Dark days are upon us. We should be celebrsting our daughter's marriage, but instead I am forced to prepare for war against the Montegues."

I slammed my fist on the table.
"Let me join you!"

Her father scorned me.
"You shouldn't be so eager to slsughter the ones who raised you! I forbid you to go!"

I was stubborn.
But then Adriana spoke.
"Honey, stay here with me. We don't have to fight this battle. Let's just stay together, out of danger, and be happy."

She convinced me not to go.
I couldn't risk dying and not getting to see her again.

........

Days later.

Adriana and I stood in front of my old house. She had a basket of flowers from the meadow in her hand. She gave them to me. I walked forward towards my brother's bloody corpse.
I cried in anger.
I threw the flowers onto the ground in front of him, and stomped them into the dirt, yelling "FILTHY MONTEGUES!"

Adriana ran to my side to comfort me.

Though she tried her best to help me, I constantly shoo'ed her away.
