then: 'lets eat THEN go to the movies' here youre saying you want to eat first before going to see a movie
than: 'id rather eat THAN go to the movies.' and here youre saying youd rather eat instead of see a movie.
its kind of a present tense/ past tense thing.
like, you used the incorrect term, because right now hes saying he's gonna do more to her before kissing her.
'ill do more, then kiss you.' thats basically what it'd look like if phrased correctly & such.
but, 'ill do more than kiss you' is him saying he wants to make out or whatever. x'D
i hope i cleared a few things up.
