my mri was almost a disaster. we had to travel a long way to get to the hospital and then we couldn't find the mri unit, people kept giving us different direction and we ended up in this terrifying underground labyrinth with AUTHORISED PERSONS ONLY signs everywhere. eventually some dude helped us out and got to the unit. we hand my papers to the receptionist, say how much trouble we had finding the place, he says that there are 3 mri units at the hospital so we might not have got the right one. then he looks at the paper work and looks at us sadly and says "I'm sorry to have to tell you this but you don't just have the wrong unit, you have the wrong HOSPITAL". WE WENT TO THE ENTIRE WRONG HOSPITAL. anyway then we had to navigate to the real hospital with a bad google maps printout and we got lost and my dad swore a lot but I did get there in the end. it was really nice to get to lie down on the scanner bench and have a rest! the scan itself was kind of cool and interesting but I won't see the results till the autumn. AND THAT'S MY DUMB STORY ANYWAY, can I ask how your birthday went? I hope it was good!
