Anyway, around 2000 is when I started reading a "how to draw marvel heroes" book. After that I spent middleschool and highschool trying to figure out body proportions. Self teaching is great and all, but books, videos, tutorials etc make progress decades faster.

dude my whole life i went thinking ah i cant draw ever...but recently ive gained curiosity toward art,,i used to draw stick figures my entire life pretty much. however, ive taken in the past charcoal classes. im a musician..that is my art. im good at copying by looking at a pic but, yet not draw on my own. its people like you that inspire..
me to draw and have the little pieces of art knowledge i have collected through out the years sacred. thanks for drawing...'period
