"Please," he wails, tears welling up in his sorrowful brown eyes, "d-don't take him..!"
His eyesight is blurring, everything in his path becoming an indecipherable vortex of dull colors. He runs, but his actions were to no avail.
"Please, no!" he yells, tears running down his rubricated cheeks. He falls to his knees, sobs racking his small figure.
"Please.. he's all I have left.."
He brings his hands to his face, a pitiful sight indeed.
"I'm sorry.. I-I forgive you..."
