My last resort was to copy his picture and use it as a ref for his hair.
This was my 6TH DRAWING OF HIM.
I'm sorry it's late, and honestly I think he looks like cra.p in comparison to your drawings, but his hair was so hard for me, I gave up with my last result and tried to make it look better!
Sorry I copied the pic, but I needed a ref I could SEE. Because drawing his hair, saving, and going back to take a look wasn't working.
