my grandpa passed away in the hostpital the day before yesterday. But I was with him holding his hand the whole time. My family and I were singing to him and we all got to speak to him before they took the oxygen off. It took much longer than expected but he kept breathing on his own till it decreased and was no more. One of the good things about it is that family I haven't seen in years is coming here wether from U.S. or around the world. I'm glad we can be brought together.

and my grandapa is going to be in the news paper??? apparently he was very well known. But he was a great man and set an amazing example on how to live your life.

i'm so sorry to hear of your grandfather's passing. I'm sure he was a great man, and I'm glad to hear that you respected and cared about him! :) I never had a very strong relationship with my grandparents because I never actually met them.

I'm sorry that happened to your grandfather Kris, but I'm happy you and your family celebrated his life together. I also hope your grandpa enjoyed his last few moments on earth with his family, that must of meant a lot to him.

He sounded like a really great person, I'm so sorry. I'm glad his last memories were nice ones though, that must have meant a lot to him. I really wish you and your family all the best right now <3

Im sorry for your loss, my pappy, what we called our grandpa, passed unexpectedly... in his apartment. he died due to a heart attack. We found out he Wasnt taking his medication. Sadly, the result was death. We had investigators come out and everything, he wasn't murdered. but it was very tough to find this out. My family alreaey knew he was an alcoholic, but he quit a year before he died, the worst part is, is that he died before Christmas. we found our gifts in his apartment...
