Yep, public school is always a hot spot for people to make fun of generally anything, so you can expect people to be mean there... Some of the teachers might not understand what being transgender is either, so that could be annoying :P
Everything else would be back to normal, though. Your friends being close, you lovely little dog, and your dad's house.
With boarding school, though, you could start fresh. Everyone would know you as a guy, so no one would get confused about gender stuff.

But with the new start, you're pretty much leaving everything from before in the past. Sure, you could visit your friends and dad every once and a while, but not much at all.

But yeah... be sure to think things through. Getting to know more about the school and who goes there might be nice for an idea of what you're getting yourself into.

You may not want summer to end, but that doesn't mean it's going to. Don't spent the entire thing thinking about how it's going to be bad later. Try and spend as much time with your friends and family while you can. Don't waist a perfectly splended summer with worrying.
