Re: It's an 26-episode animated series that will air sometime this fall. It's in 3D, but there is the possibility of a 2D version being released online.

The plot: Marionette and Adrien, two high school students who are 'chosen' to protect the city of Paris. Marionette transforms into the superhero Ladybug with a special pair of earrings, and Adrien turns into Chat Noir with a ring (secret identities/alter egp, of course).
Marionette crushes on Adrien. Chat Noir likes Ladybug... but neither one realizes that the person they like is the same person that they're rejecting. Such an ironic cycle.
