Nyx was abandoned by her first trainer and left chained on the side of the road. Evelyn met Nyx prior to joining Team Rocket on her way home from an opera performance. Nyx was very wary at first, but after some coaxing,flame throwing, tears, and bonding, Nyx allowed Evelyn to unchain her. Nyx only trusts Evelyn as of the current time making visits to the pokecenter a pain.
