Arche glided quickly over the wastes, dead trees caked with snow whirring under her. She scanned the horizon for the shapes of the town, and lo! There it was. Hope was near. She floated down to the ground and took off at a fast lope, making it to the entrance in due time.

Vera strode around the small market, eyeing the baubles and trinkets that shone in the sun. She glanced down at the small quail gryph that trotted next to her.

Qyrin glared at the trinkets. "So, are you looking at those baubles? They're probably not worth the money, Vera." she said, and started humming a tune.

Vera shook her head. "Nah, I'm more looking at what's behind these shinies." She motioned towards the slightly rusted pair of calipers. "Been needing a ne pair..." She glanced around the stall, which was empty. The owner must've taken a break. "Hey... if you duck under that table and get me those, I'll, ummmm.... I'll buy you a nice, fat mouse." She nodded, as if that were a good deal

Meanwhile, Arche rushed hurriedly into the small village, ignoring her hunger as she passed by the hearty aroma of the bakery. She skidded to a stop in front of a small, rough-wooded building. Painted green on its splintered surface were the letters "Healer." She was about to head in when she noticed the bright white "Closed" sign, then gave a defeated groan.

Meanwhile, many miles out, deep in a forest was a cave. In it contained three griffins. Gaothraloir and his two new friends. Gaoth was still in a bit of a daze from his injuries. But it appeared he would make it through the night

Turning in frustrated circles on the cold dirt ground, Arche glanced wildly around for anyone who looked like they could be a doctor. Then she saw her. She growled low as she saw the infernal gryph. Red in color, and slightly mottled, she'd recognize Vera anywhere.

Xiaoli hid buried deep under the snow beneath one of the houses in the village, she was hiding from the group that had chased her here in the night. Terrified she'd dug a hole, unaware of how cold it was and settled down to sleep. Now she'd been awakened by muffled footsteps above her and her heart quickened, they'd come back for her she thought. She shivered and tried to keep as quiet as she could, while trying to listen to what was happening above her. She was doing well.. Until a speckle of snow dust landed on her nose causing her to sneeze, she quickly froze and made herself as small as possible and waited..

(Sorry if im a bit off.. I'm nit the best today xD Im sick n icey knows why and whats wrong but I can sacrifice for this)

Arche stopped pacing when she heard the sneeze behind her. Turning around, she spotted the diminuative (Probably a spelling error) gryphon huddling in the powdery snow. "What're you doing in there?" She tilted her head at the gryph, while still keeping an eye on Vera.

Xiaoli looked up into Arche's eyes and shuffled herself backwards in fear. She opened her mouth to speak but nothing came out, she gulped and lowered herself to the ground and quietly spoke. "H-Hiding.. Please don't hurt me.. I'm sorry I ran.. I'm sorry!" She gulped and looked around, still thinking Arche was a threat and a danger to her life, she shook with fear and slowly tried to dig backwards with her back feet. "L-Leave me A-Alone!"

(I can't really do anything until Sagitarri and Zephyr come back on. And who's Vera?)

Arche glanced upwards in desparation. *What do I do with this?* She huffed then eyed the gryphon. "I'm not going to hurt you. I don't know why you're hiding, but I suppose you're welcome to stick around for a little while..." She trailed off, possibly regretting that descision.

(Tempted to make another Gryph.. A Snowleopard/Albatross.. But dunno if im allowed? I've been doodling him all day but im not very good xD, he doesnt have a name yet though..)

Xiaoli sniffed the air, stood up and shook the snow clinging to her fur off of her small body and followed behind Arche slowly and at a distance. She then stopped "Wait! Where you trying to get into the Healers house?" She looked back at the closed sign and smiled. She thought to herself 'She seems safe.. and shes bigger than I am.. Maybe if I can find out what theyre doing here.. and help.. maybe they'll let me stay with them..' She looked at Arche and tilted her head.

She stopped in her tracks and looked back at the little gryph. "Errr, yeah. But the lady who works there is too lazy to get off her bum and come help those that need help." She glowered at Vera, who looked up just then. She smiled at Arche in a sneering way before trotting across the dirt path, forgetting about the calipers. "Wanting in?" She gave a quick glance towards the small gryphon.

Xiaoli stood up and smiled "I can get in! Theres a hole round the back small enough for someone small to fit in, If I wake her up I can help you out! Thats if you don't already have a way of getting in??" She tilted her head and awkwardly smiled at Vera.

Vera chuckled. "Wake her up, eh?" She huffed and stood in front of an angry Arche. "What do you need in there for?"

Goualbus was quite reluctant to abandon the relative comfort of his hiding place, but curiosity tugged at him sharply. He considered everything that could go wrong if he were to follow in the stead of the mysterious gryphons, whom of which he was uncertain weren't hostile. His claws and talons digging into the snow, his eyes shut tight, he grudgingly spread his broad, rufous wings, taking off soaring in the direction they'd headed, toward a cavern.

(I gathered xD I have a plan)

Xiaoli chuckled and smiled nervously "How did you not hear me screaming for help last night.." She walked forwards a little and her heartbeat quickened, shed forgotten about the wound on her stomach made by the Gryphons chasing her last night, she stumbled forwards and collapsed to the ground. She was losing blood and the snow had stopped it from bleeding as it'd made it cold enough to heal slightly, but all the scrambling and putting pressure by moving had opened up and her body couldnt take the pain. Her eyes fluttered and she went unconcious.

(Sorry im eating and rping)

Arche stepped back from the injured gryph, turning to Vera, who was simply just standing there, eyeing her. "Well!?" Arche motioned to Xiaoli. "Just a second," Vera muttered before hopping over the body and heading into her shop. Arche just huffed in annoyance. "So stubborn, as always..."

As he neared its entrance, pangs of uneasiness coursed through him. What might I have gotten myself into now? he pondered sullenly. For all I know, they could be nothing but icy murd.erers!

(I just had a crazy thought.. What if my other bab is part of The Order but the only reason being so is because they threatened to burn his village down and kill his family, not knowing they already had done so? I dunno tryna think of info for him xD or maybe he used to be part of them..)

(Ooh, that sounds cool!)

Xiaoli breathed heavily, while knocked out she was imagining she was with her family, safe and happy. She opened her eyes for a few seconds and spoke quietly "Mom?" She was hallucinating, a side effect of the blood loss.

(I'm still here, reading up to stay on top of the plot. What's with Vera?)

Arche continued to fret about Xiaoli, pacing back and forth on the hard snow. She heard the gryph mumble something, and Arche just responded with a "Stay alive". Vera came bounding out with a seeing needle and thread and began to work on the twitchy gryphon. She was soon finished, and before she could go back in, Arche stopped her. "That's all and well, Vera, but I need your help elsewhere too..." She carefully picked up Xiaoli and motioned for Vera to follow her. Vera did, relectantly.

(Cause then Whaley wouldnt be alone rn and he could come in d-sooner or later, I thought maybe he could be a Cheetah/Albatross since theres already a snow leopard xD)

(Like I said, she's the doctor and Arche went to the city to find one. She didn't know there was Vera there, and since they have a muddied history together, they're both kinda bitter about each other.)

(I think Whaley might be at Gaoth's cave, but yeah, it'd be interesting)

As Goualbus descended upon the cave, utter relief washed over him, for his specialized feathers muffled out any sound his wings would have otherwise emitted. But that ray of light was quickly clouded by his usual snarkiness."Oh, the joys of being semi-owl," he muttered dryly under his breath. At least he'd have an instant to think on his approach before he'd be noticed, and, possibly, mau.led.
(Finally, a taste of the trademark sheer negativity we'll come to know and love! xD)

Xiaoli opened her eyes and skinted, still a bit drowsy she found herself being carried, she blinked a few times before closing her eyes and drifting into a sleep again. She was surrounded by fire, she could hear her family screaming, her mother leapt out of the flames and pushed her and told her to run. She then mumbled in her sleep and made uncomfortable groans "The smoke it hurts"
(Shes gonna sound mental but hey shes a traumatised pu.ssycat xD)

Gaoth slowly recovered from his sleepiness and delusion, though disoriented. He looked around, not knowing how he got in the cave. He was alone. Even through his foggy mind he knew there were two who were with him. Where had they gone? Then...
Not really a sound. But something caught his attention. A presence... of someone else. "Hey... guys? Uh... (What were their names, he asked himself). He rattled off possible names those two could've been. "Satari? No... Sari.... ...... Sagitarri?" He called out.

(Gonna wait to bring Velveteen (Cheetah/Albatross) in)

Arche glanced down at the little bundle in her beak. *Poor thing*, she thought, *Something bad must've happened*. She glanced over at Vera, who was squinting against the icy wind, doctor's bag in hand. Arche focused back on the landscape that whirred by.

Goualbus shook, startled to hear a voice resonating from within the structure. But then again, he quickly retorted to himself, what did he expect? Though this particular call sounded faint and frail. Obviously not threatening. He almost entered, when he jerked himself back, fearing it to be a trap. Now what? Surely his presence must have been made known by now.

(I might be here another hour. Not in an rp all day mood. As for an orca rp, I'll figure out the details later)

Xiaoli breathed heavily as she was carried and she started to shiver, her short fur finally letting in the cold air. She whimpered and continued to sleep.

"Sagi.... tarri...." He spoke out. "Where'd you go?"

"I refuse to give up... I won't fall to my injuries. I must survive....." He mumbled, weak pride in his voice. Despite his frailty, his healing pride wouldn't let him succumb

(I unfortunately won't be here much longer, either. xc My siblings have an appointment and are taking my 3DS with them. I gave them permission, though.)

Arche stopped suddenly in the air and dropped down to the forest floor, a confused Vera following. "Out here?" She mumbled through the wooden handle of her doctor's bag. Arche nodded and stepped into the cave, only to find a strange gryphon inside. She placed Xiaoli onto the rocky floor and yelled, "Hey! Stay away from him, we have a doctor!" Vera glanced at the new gryphon and shrugged.

(Gosh, not THAT s.picy! XD Actually, although I like hot foods, I can't stand them. cx For example, after consuming a few hot Cheetos, I'll literally down an entire glass of water. ((Tiff)))

Xiaoli opened her eyes and they widened, she decided to stay back, she was small enough that if she got caught up in the others she could get stepped on and squished.

Vera rushed over to Gaoth, taking out her needle and thread, as well as a few herbs to rub near his gash to numb the pain. She got to work, Arche glancing away from the carnage towards Xiaoli.

(We'll just pretend her oc stepped out of the way and is just watching)

(Does Velveteen sound like an okay name? I want him to sound innocent and sweet but be quite dangerous and cruel if needed but also sweet and caring)

Xiaoli smiled at Arche and yawned quietly, she then turned her head and got to her feet and walked out and looked up at the sky. She thought she saw someone flying above but thought it was just her imagination playing tricks on her. She smiled and a tear rolled down her cheek, it'd been a long time since she'd been with other Gryphons and she was worried theyd abandon her.

Through the numbness, Gaoth still felt a few sharp stabs of the needle. Every time that happened, he winced. The wound clotted up a bit since the trauma the evening before. But the extra care was aiding his body more than the natural course of self cure could do

(Its supposed to, his mother thought it was cute xD So he gets called Velo xD)

Vera stepped back and nodded. "I did what I could. Goodbye!" She leapt out of the cave, only to be held back by a scowling Arche, talon around her ankle. "Hey now!" Vera landed, unaware of the gryphon in the sky.

Xiaoli glanced upwards again and saw the figure flying and getting closer. She spoke up "Um.. I think were in troub-" She was cut off by a huge pair of talons making a grab for her. "Trouble! Wait.." The gryphon landed and snatched her up and smirked "Oh. Its you, hmm.. Do I kill you here or let my friends do it for me?" he chuckled, not realising they had company.

Both Vera and Arche stared at the obviously hostile newcomer. Arche puffed up her feathers and approached him. "What do you think you're doing? That tiny griff can't possibly hurt you, why're you picking on her!?" Vera simply rolled her eyes at Arche. "Here we go with the heroics again," she muttered under her breath.

Velveteen spun round and tightened his grip on little Xiaoli and she squeaked "Ufh. Hey I want to keep my ribs yano!" The bigger gryphon smiled and rolled his eyes at Arche, he expanded his wings and got ready to fly off, knowing hed have to run a bit he backed up. "Oh.. She obviously means something to you? Hm.. She hasnt told you why we caught her did she.. I guess its good she didnt.. She might survive if she kept her mouth shut"
Xiaoli's eyes widened and she gulped nervously hoping they didnt ask..

Qyrin flew nonchalantly after Vera. She was late, but that wasn't a problem.

Arche paused. "Well, I guess! I don't know her well, but I'm not going to let you hurt innocents... if she even is innocent..." Arche huffed and sprung into the air, only managing to grip onto his tail.
Vera watched Gaoth get up and grimaced. "Err, becareful there. I just sewed it up, if you don't remember."

(Arche went to the city to find Vera, as you know, and found Xiaoli there too. They flew back to the cave to fix up Gaoth, and Winchy's newest character decided to attack them. And Arche and Vera have been salty all day)

Qyrin decided to land near Vera. "Who's this?" she murmured.

Velveteen smiled as he noticed another gryphon entering the scene and he let go of Xiaoli and flew up a bit "I might just leave her here.. If you have a brain you'll ask her, You'll want rid of her soon enough, when you do.. Leave her outside, I'll pick her up and save you the trouble" He smirked "I guess I'll be seeing you again soon.." he chuckled as he flew off.

Xiaoli breathed heavily and felt all eyes fall to her, she chuckled nervously and made herself into a ball.

"Oh fine. I guess I'll just go back to the-ow... The cave," Gaoth grumbled and disappeared back into the cave. Seconds later snoring echoed

Vera smiled at Qyrin. "Ah, you're here. It's getting exciting." She motioned to the three fighting gryphons. "Arche has to play hero, the little one's being taken away, and I don't know who the bigger one is." She cast a glance at Gaoth. "And that one's going to rip his stitches if he isn't careful." She said this part louder to attract his attention.

Qyrin gave a little sigh. "Alright, so these guys are fighting? Hope there's no bl0odshed." she said, quite nonchalantly.

Arche puffed out a blast of breath into the cold air. "Yeah right!" She turned to face Xiaoli. "Okay, what was he talking about?" Vera simply watched.

Qyrin watched with aloofness, waiting to seek out the winner. And possibly ask them if they cheated.

Vera nudged Qyrin. "Wanna skedaddle while Mrs. DoGooder is distracted?" She got up to leave, but Arche just gave her a glare full of ice. "Leave and I won't pay you." Vera shrugged. "Fair enough."

Xiaoli started breathing rapidly "I-I I don't know!" She curled up and tears rolled down her face as they all stared at her, she felt nervous and scared. She gulped and spoke really quickly "I'm the messenger.. I got caught trying to leave the forest and got chased, I think.. Well I know.. That was Velveteen.. Hes the scout or whatever.. H-Hes been following me.. I didnt know I had it.. I thought I lost it.." She pulled a long grey feather out of her chest and sighed "They must have tracked me using smell.. This was my mothers.. She was part of the Order.. Kind of.. I was going to tell you.. But I couldnt.. Sorry.." She hid her face from them and curled up.

Basically Arche went to get help, found an old "friend" and helped Gaoth, picking up Xiaoli who brought trouble)

Xiaoli got to her feet and dropped the feather. "I don't know any of your names.. You don't know anything about me.." She shivered from the cold

Vera paused at the doorway. "Welp, I'm off, maybe you guys should come if you want to avoid that Velvet or whatever his name is." She galloped over the snow before lifting off into the air, Arche left scowling on the ground.

Qyrin gave a small huff and chased after Vera.

(I want Velveteen to end up being all nice eventually, it wont be for a few rps tho)

Arche glanced at Xiaoli. "Arche's the name, and that red devil's Vera. I don't know who she has with her..." She gave one more shrug before lifting off after Vera and Qyrin.
