The Brotherhood of Destral's fifth of five powerful members, Vetas is a Chao born with human speech.
With an IQ dwarving Dr. Julius Ivo Robotnik (aka Eggman) and Tails' combined, Vetas once served under Sally's father as a weapon scientist.

Vetas tried to persuade him to go through with a war, but he was dismissed from service.

Upon joining the Brotherhood in spite, it was Vetas and Ashura who tricked Eggman into staging the coup on Mobotropolis.
