i thought i wouldnt ithear but it keeps your teeth in place when your braces are off, i was a week late for getting mine and some teeth moves o.o....i juuust might need them :/ sorry.
No mines VERY nice, it still hurt to get them off, but he did it quickly so maybe 10 minutes in all to take them off, minus the waits.

I just kept putting them on all day, also putting toothpaste on the top retainer helps ALOT it stops the gaging, and pressing your toung lightly to the roof of your mouth. also rinse them before and after.
