I never did figure out what I should write as description, but I tried a few new things here, like using a diff. color as shadow rather than just darken the same color...and a simple bg.

It's looking cool. The hair is looking a little too flat, and there should probably be some form of a shadow between on the face where the envelope meets it, but other than those little gripes, I like what you're doing here.
