(tangent time) yknow some days are just awful but this one thought that occurred to me once that kinda helps. it's like, you can't have every day. there are days where you seize and own the day and have a great time, like, yes. and there are days that doesn't happen. I realized it's okay to say "today's a bad day". it's ok to give today to anger/sadness/etc. tomorrow will be better

Yeah, on bad days it's always hard to think possitively, and if you're faking happyness, then to others it might seem like you're acting sarcastic or sassy. It's good to feel the emotions you have at the time, even if they're negative.
But it's also good to notice the good things every day. If it's sunny outside, if your favorite show is on, if your friend is over, if you got a good grade on a test or other nice things, it's always good to be thankful for those. It might brighten your day just a bit to notice the good things allong with the bad things. :3
