Yeah, it's fairly common in my "species" of sphinxes to be born completely genderless.

There are male and female sphinxes that do reproduce. The genderless ones can't.

It's more just an extremely common mutation (sort of like the ability to actually drink milk in humans) and it doesn't really depend on chromosomes. It's sort of like being born missing an arm, in a way, and often times, despite being genderless, they may appear more masculine or feminine (though most are fairly androgynous)

Re: Dood. It's a miracle Eigen's hands turned out as well as they did in that painting. However Moortje's looked TERRIBLE and it took me like 200 tries to get them to resemble actual hands
