i feel like im drawing less and less ._____. i sorta always wished i could grow to be as good an artist as my senpai, but lately ive felt a lack of drive and i feel like senpai would be pretty disapointed in me

Yo, keep drawing and drawing more. The best thing I can tell you is look up things you want to work on with your style currently. Such as for example, if your OCs faces suffer from 'same face syndrome' try drawing a face that is very unique and look up tutorials on google/deviantart on how to avoid this problem. Look up references, and keep drawing until you've got it down. Or, for example, if you wish your colors were more interesting to look at, look up color theory tutorials. Have references for the style you'd like to have. Draw it, and draw it again. Have patience with your art and yourself. Be kind to yourself and put your best foot forward until you're proud of what you're drawing.
