no one ever really wants to chat with me.
i have to prod them into conversation.
what if they don't like me, and that's why they ignore me?
it's as if i 'm invisible or forgotten until their phone buzzes with a text from me.
so i guess i'll just disappear from their heads.

Shad, I'm telling you now that it's not like that. At least for me.
I replied to this same kind of thing on your Tumblr, but I'm gonna say it again.
I don't text people first because I really don't wanna catch them at a bad time. Or just be flat out bothersome. Having someone message me first gives me the reassurance that it's okay. But the thoughts start all over again when the discussion ends. I have not forgotten you. I worry and talk about you almost every day.

the other person can feel like this too, meaning conversations may never happen. but i try to teach myself that it doesnt matter. i know my friend wont hate me or be annoyed by it (they often reassure me about that ahaa) and if they dont reply, i know they can be busy and dont have to reply right away.
