Alright this needs to be addressed, in Yoshi's Island (and such games,) the yoshi that carries baby Mario around the island is NOT Yoshi. He is in fact the chief from Paper Mario. It is explained in Yoshi's Island DS that the sixth, missing star was actually the Yoshi we know from Super Mario World and so on. Everyone I know-even the hardcore Yoshi fans and game theorists-make this one, same mistake.
