Last month my uncle asked me what I wanted for a gift. I said I wanted a siamese cat plush. He said OK. Two week later, I got a CHINESE LUCKY CAT. Which was unexpected. But I kept it. And never spoke of it again. Until he called me asking if I got the gift I asked for. I didn't want to be rude but I had to be honest. So I said no. He wasn't mad, just disapointed.
