Today, a legend has passed.
Satoru Iwata, CEO of Nintendo, died at 55 years old, due to a bile duct growth.
Iwata changed gaming for everyone. Before he was CEO, he was an INCREDIBLE programmer. He condensed Pokemon Gold and Silver down to include Kanto. He programmed Earthbound from the bottom up. He debugged all of Smash Bros. Melee in a week to release it on time.
He cared for Nintendo. Last year, he cut his salary in half so nobody would need to be fired.
Rest in peace.

I'm still in shock. This man changed my life drastically. I probably would not be here if not for the games his company created.
I apologize for the lack of quality on this painting. I wanted to get this out here quickly. Hopefully the next painting I make will be more positive.

Re: I didn't really know about this, except that he went to the hospital awhile ago. I thought everything would be fine now. This is very sad, and very sudden.
