TOO LATE, I'M EXPLAINING IT.
Cores operate differently than hearts (no duh)! When someone loves someone else VEEERRYY much in a romantic way, their Core will try and co.nnect with the other Core. Think of it like your hearts kissing!
No wait, that's weird...
Anyways-!! It brings about a great feeling! Cores con.necting is a FANTASTIC thing, because it means both members of the relationship love each other VEERRRY much! It's like becoming one person! (And NO, Cores cannot fuse, so there is no physical con.necting!) But it is typically a complete sign they belong together and should get married!
Buuutttt, Blitz is not in a relationship with Shade. Because of how much he loves her, he's already reached a point of intense emotion and commitment that causes his Core to want to con.nect with Shade's. BUUUTT, both Cores have to be trying to make a full con.nection. So all Blitz is really doing is making it OBVIOUS TO EVERYONE HE IS INTENSELY IN LOVE WITH SHADE.
