too bad:( i have an extra one but it's way too.. I really cam.t explain.Just that I chew every thing and the back side of the stylus the side opposite of the tip has bite marks and is unshaped.A bit hard to explain.It is hard to close it though but it still fits in the 3ds.I could have given it to you if you lived next door :D

I got my hands on a pack of six colored metalic styluses with glass tips. They're pretty sweet, and the pack was only about $5 USD. They're durable, and the transparent tip makes it a little easier to see what I'm doing on the screen. plus, they fit into the stylus slot better than the originals.
