Another late night sketch. I wanted to capture the idea of a torchlit D&D style dungeon entrance. Hmm, I feel there is something here moodwise that I want to use in a more structured painting.

Your entire gallery is amazing!! And this commitment that you have made for yourself is equally amazing. It seems so rare these days for an artist to actually create something EVERY SINGLE DAY. I respect you so much just for that.

I notice that this has much more contrast and values. It's different from your others. Probably because it's not an outdoor scene, so the light is much different and darker. It's amazingly beautiful and I love your added lighting values for the two torches.

@usilex Thank you very much for the follow, I don't know if there is much to say about my artistic journey. I guess I have always been pretty determined too become a designer/illustrator.
@Simeon haha, some times I'm motivated, sometimes I'm not. I just try to stick to my goals; every day I'm happy that I didn't slack off the day before.
@kleinir Thanks, I have a hard time seeing myself anywhere near amazing, but I'm flattered if you feel that way.
@acuddlycat Thank you. It's a challenge at times for sure, but it feels like a healthy one. Try it yourself if you like the idea :)
@AeiouY Thanks, yeah I basically went in to this painting with one Idea in mind: Firelight. The rest came from that as I started to paint.
