Amoz was originally a demi-god named Bastian, a son of the goddess Baset. However he fell prey to insanity and was cast into the Underworld to work where the job was fitting. He was later re-named to Amoz when he was promoted. When his insanity got better, he decided to work in Underland, a more...tame and civilized version of the Underworld.

my literall first thoughts were 'jeebus f-ing cheets[replaced words in concern to others] this thing will give me nightmares. In an artistic point of view the design is unique and very well thought out.
