I've decided either osprey/lion or toucan/black panther. Which combo you like more? Can't decide...

Osprey/lion would probably have an easier time in the snow, but toucan/panther would have a pretty cool design

Osprey/lion... prideful mane like a lion, fish eater like an osprey. But the toucan's black feathers mixing into the black fur of a panther. Or a peacock? A male would have those lovely tail feathers. I can't decide!

Personality-Um...let's see... I want him to be tough. Brash. Nice with the ladies but desires to be single. Young and callow, like the rash 20-something college student in griffon form

Backstory-He roamed around the wintery scene, upset that all the lakes have frozen over. Not even the seas he so loved fishing in held any prizes worth eating. So he set out on his own to find this "seed" in myth. He didn't believe in it, of course. But this stark landscape was so tedious and desolate, he was willing to try anything. He prefers to be alone in his search. At one point he found this pack of griffons with the same intention with this seed. But he clashes with them and goes it alone for pride. Later he figures it's for the better to join forces. But he doesn't like it

Yeah... he's extremely prideful. And a bit egotistical
