well first off, he's Rain. if he's the water lank guardian, he should probably be silver or grey/white with blue design. Thats a good way to resemble clouds and water

he could be silver with a darker mane possibly :o

I've seen some really neat characters that work really well with blues. Usually blue is their main color, and the lighter colors are used as an accent to make them look nice. look up Pocari Roo, its a fursuiter who has a blue sodaroo based on i think a chinese drink called Pocari sweat? but he has white markings that look real nice on him

mhmm, i usually use green with black, or red and whatever fits with the character im making

I suggest rain's mane and markings being the cream, and if he has any tufts, use a different shade of blue for those, preferaby darker than his main color, and give him a light eye color, even if they have to be cream or white, since green doesnt actually fit too well with blue charas sometimes

His dolphin tail would work nicely with his design, and maybe as a few illegal traits he can have (because he's one of the gods right?), he can have a fin on his back and fur on the bottom of his tail, like how some cats have like...wisps of fur idk

try not to use colors like yellow in his design btw, and if you do, dont use too much like his last design, it throws it off tbh
