Kaplan sat guarding the entrance of the den. The ground was still soaked and the air cool and moist. The pack has rested the entire day until the moon was in the sky. Without the lights from the buildings, the sky was brilliant. Kaplan decided it was time to scout out and claim their chunk of land.

@luna, well, I did say if you didn't have your refs in you probably couldn't join. I'll have to think about it since there are so many dogs/people.

Helios lay snoozing peacefully outside, probably thankful that the rain had stopped. She twitched every so often, dreaming.

Keeley yawned and got to her paws. She felt well rested since the pack had slept til the moon rose into full view. Glancing around, she spotted Kaplan guarding the den. "Uh, Kaplan." she woofed quietly, "Are we going to scout soon?"

Carson skittered into a house that had a gaping hole in the ceiling. He could hear the sound of something moving outside. He didn't exactlly know what it was, but he knew one thing for sure it was NOT something he was going to mess with. Carson leaned against the rubble , waiting for that 'thing' to pass.

Kyra wondered where she was..she has been ruuning far to escape the dogs after her.

Chellit's eyes blinked open, only to see Olivia at her side. She sighed. Today was going to be a long day.

Kaplan nodded slightly in response. He got to his paws and padded away to mark the nearby brick building's wall.

Segler's eyes shot open after the brown pup chomped down on his ear. Olivia seemed quite proud of herself for sneaking up on an older dog.

At the shuffles and rustles of her packmates awakening, Helios yawned and sat up, groggily glancing about the area.

Segler pried the pup off and padded out to meet Kaplan. He marked a spot close to the leader's and began, "Sir, should we have two or three patrols?"

Kaplan thought a moment and replied, "We'll see who wants to go."

kyra was getting extremely tired from running, but she knew she couldn't stop. One of the dogs she was running from was catching up..

Carsons heart raced for what seemed like hours waiting for the creature to pass. When it eventually did pass Carson let out a sigh of releif his nerves settling. As he padded out of the building he caught the scent of rotting trash mixed with the scent of decaying flesh. His stomach growled while he was rather disgusted by the smell he had no other choice. He shook out his grimy fur and padded towards a dumpster rumaging through it , not noticing the scents of other canines.

Chellit snuck nearby, overhearing their conversation. She stepped out. "I guess I shall." she said, giving a frown. "At least I'm capable enough."

Kaplan padded into the den and barked, "Time to scout the area. Who wants to join Segler and me? We'll try to find food to bring back."

(Ugh, I'm not home yet. Could I RP from my phone when it comes to a 'patrol' part of the RP? I just really don't wanna miss this.)

"I will." Keeley volunteered.

Axle rolled onto her paws and volunteered to join the patrol. She made her way to the doorframe and tripped. She landed on her leg-less (legolas XD) side.

Helios snapped her head towards Kaplan and trotted over. "I will, sir."

(I'll join in a little later I'm not home right now but I'll be home in a couple of minutes)

Carson found some half eaten hotdogs, eating them ravenously. Carson looked over to a spot with mud and noticed something. He jumped out of the dumpster eyeing the spoltch of mud. He jumped back seeing the paw marks indented in the mud. "Dangit i'm probably in someones territory" he shudderd.

"I'll go!" Coyote volunteered happily.

kyra couldnt run anymore. It was time to turn around and fight. she jumped around to face the single dog after her, but he was already ready to attack, and bit the back of her neck. Kyra shook him off and bit the dogs leg, tasting blood.

Chellit padded behind, hearing some ominous noises. "Heh, probably just some runt fighting his siblings for meat.." she murmured to herself.

(Kay, I'm here.)

Kaplan borked his order, "I need half of you to go with Segler and half with me."

(XD oh gosh not borked)

Helios nodded, backing off just a little bit to get out of immediate range of Kaplan's bark. "Either one of you is fine with me," she murmured, restlessly shuffling her paws.

Carson foze "What if they're dangerous"he spoke softly to himself "maybe they aren't maybe they are sensible". He shook his head as he continued to argue with himself , becoming anxious at the thought of choosing what to do.

"Alright!" barked Keeley, "Who am I going with?"

Chellit blinked. "I'll go with Kaplan." she said, then padded away from the small group.

*Froze

Kaplan went off in the same direction near the bridge and silently hoped the cover of night would give them an advantage.

Segler huffed and padded towards the same old wire fence wondering who'll chose him.

Helios shrugged and loped after Segler, squeezing under the fence to follow him.

The dog fighting kyra yelped in pain, and she released his front leg from her jaws. She then pins him to the ground, biting his neck. The other dog then showed his belly, showing he surrendered, and Kyra held his neck for a moment longer and released him. "get out of my sight" she growled. Kyra was quite proud she fought off a dog, but then she was knocked to the ground hard, not knowing what hit her, and she felt horrible stinging pain on her nose. The dogs snuck up frlm behind her..how could she be so unprepared?

Keeley shrugged as no one answered and she padded after Segler.

Segler heard a scuffling from the dumpster. He decided to check it out, 'it might be a hazard' he thought

Kaplan clicked down the road and towards the tall buildings. He thought he heard some dogs in a scuffle somewhere ahead

Coyote followed Kaplan. He trusted his leader, feeling like Segler wasnt experienced enough.

Keeley paused as Segler went to check out something behind a dumpster. 'I wonder what's up?' she thought quietly.

Kyra yelped in pain, and her snout/nose started bleeding, and thats all she could smell. The dog that injured her bit down on her neck, and Kyra struggled getting free from him

Helios perked her ears at the rustling from the bin and began sniffing around cautiously. She stayed a ways away from the trash can, fearing that there might be another vicious dog inside. Or perhaps something worse...

"What was that?" Coyote's ears perked as he heard a yelp. He tried to look into the distance.

Carson shifted from paw to paw pointing out the pro's and con's of other dogs. He remembered his first encounters with dogs after the 'bad', it was a terrifying experience. He tried not to think about his pasr experiences.

Segler barked and began to softly growl at whatever was in the trash. "Come out if you don't want your blood on the ground."

Kaplan lowered his head in a cat-like stalking position and swiftly clicked towards the sounds of fighting. Normally, he'd go away from the fighting but this wasn't - from the sound of it - sick dogs.

Carson yelped and the sound of the other dog "they found me " he whispered. He shuffled out into the open eyeing the other dogs.His feet were moving but his brain didn't want to move any closer. "H-Hello good uh sir I mean no uh harm?" he spoke in a shaky tone.

(Alrighty! Shall Jule stay on pup duty?)

"Yeah." Keeley barked behind Segler, lowering her ears and tail in a defensive position.

Chellit moved her head to the side, confused. "What are those noises?" she softly barked.

Helios, though her ears were pinned back to her head, she lifted her tail to try and appear less fearful of whatever was in the dumpster.

Coyote anxiously followed Kaplan, copying his position. He tried to stay a slight distance further, not wanting to become involved in the fight.

kyra tried pushing the other dog away, but it was no use, the other dog bit down harder. "Is this the end?" she thought, loosing strength, but still trying to fight.

Segler barked assertively, with his tail high, "What are you doing here? Who are you? Are you with /them/? Have you fought recently?"

Keeley let out a low growl and showed her teeth, ready to fight if she had to.

Helios became less nervous as she saw the pitiable shape that the dog was in, but she still couldn't gather up much bravery. She still hung back a little ways and growled quietly in defense.

(About to join, had to do some stuff real quick.)

Carson stood up straight and spoke in a somewhat loud tone trying to hide his fear "Woah easy there with the questions, my name is Carson , I have no idea who 'they' are" he paused for a moment "and I haven't exactlly gotten in any fights just ......close encounters". He eyed the male dog and his companions remaining in a calm non-threating stance.

Kaplan slowed as he came up to the first buildings and saw the fighting dogs. Kap softly growled to the patrol, "Don't get too close." He inhaled and bolted down the street barking, hoping to break it up nonv!olently.

Chellit gave a faint huff of annoyance at not being able to fight, but lingered behind.

Coyote obeyed Kaplan's orders, watching as he ran towards the fighting dogs. His anxiety only grew as Kaplan came closer to the two dogs. He was ready to run away.

A short and stout black dog watched the shepherd run, the barks resonating through the street. These dogs were here to hurt him, he just knew it! He bared his fangs and skulked out, laying low before charging out and ramming into the much larger - but lither - dog.

Segler straightened his stance and replied with a slight growl, "That's ours. Didn't you smell dogs or is your nose busted? I can't take you to our pack's leader but..."

Kyras ears perked at tne sound of the barking of another dog. She lay still, relieved the dog attacking her let go. The dog attacking Kyra looked up, and growled. "this is my fight. Back off."

Helios got closer to Segler and the dog, incase he wanted to bolt. Now that she had seen him, she wasn't as afraid of him as she was at first.

Axle trailed far behind and was oblivious to any of the action. She wondered how long she could go on like she was.

Keeley nodded at Segler's words and glared at the intruder.

"But what?!" he yelped before he straightend himself back out "Look I'm sorry that I took 'your' food but I was starving it was the only thing that I could at the moment" he said in a calm tone "You would've done the same "he said looking at the other two dogs.

(Slightly late again, drawing this time, i'll just pop in the same place i left off if thats fine. Lets just say Luca was lagging behind and sadow had fallen asleep if thats ok)

Segler raised his lips slightly in the beginning of an annoyed snarl. He stopped then said, "What do you have to offer us?"

Coyote watched in horror as a well built, black dog rammed into Kaplan. He began to turn, prepared to dart away back to the den, but he watched over his shoulder.

"Do the same?" Keeley muttered, "I'd never steel from a marked place."

"Uh" he paused for a moment "I'm a great runner and can run long distances, I can also provide protection "he spoke somewhat irritated. He shifted from paw to paw and shook out his fur getting a bit irritated for being still so long.

Kaplan tumbled down the street, unprepared for the force. He layed for a moment, stunned while trying catching his breath. He regained his composure and hopped to his muscular paws. He barked for the patrol to help and he trotted briskly towards the slightly smaller dog.

Helios huffed, and sat down. She was getting awfully bored of this negotiation. 'Why not just shoo him off?' She thought greedily.

Smoke growled with his head lowered, raising his hackles.

(I hear there is one in Kansas, if you live nearby there. o.o)

"All of us can run." Keeley said haughtily, straightening her tail.

Segler planted his paw a step forward. "I suggest you watch how you speak. You're on some thin ice. You can join the pack and survive, or d!e out there. Don't be dumb."

Coyote panicked as he heard Kaplan bark for help. He quickly glanced over at Axle nervously, not sure what to do.

Shadow awoke groggy from his nap, stood and shook the moisture from his coat and looked around. "Hm, some dogs are missing. Must of gone scouting." He looked and saw his sister Luca sitting in the corner of the den by herself tearing violently at a large sheet of torn leather she must of found. He felt it better not to bother her.

Kyra saw the dog that attacked her was distracted, so she jumped up and her neck stung from moving. But She ignored it and bit down as hard as she could on the dogs neck that injured her, untill he whimpered and surrendered like the other dog.

Chellit gave a loud growl. "Idiotic mutt! What do you think you're going to get out of attacking him?" she growled, then faintly murmured... "Do you have a de.ath wish?"

Carson glared at the lab and looked back at the male " A pack sounds nice "He said quietly "Sure thank you for the offer". He wagged his tail a bit inching closer towards the other dogs , still glaring at the Lab though.

Kaplan's gums showed above his glistening yellowish teeth. His nick was snaked back and his tail was straight in the air.

Axle stumbled towards the dogs to see what was going on.

Ghost watches shadow and luca from a distant curiously and thought to himself 'they seem.... nice?' he looks around and thought 'maybe i should go introduce myself?'

Helios backed off, giving the dog a wide girth. She was still quietly growling, deep in her throat, and she padded next to him stiffly.

Keeley relaxed her stance and smirked as her new packmate glared at her. "Welcome to the pack." she barked.

Smoke glanced around, licking his nose. He dun goofd.

Coyote took a deep breath, and ran towards the black dog. Despite his weak body, crashed into the dog, attempting to make him fall.

Shadow adjusted the heavy chain that hung from the metal ring of his collar and desided and looked around the den, stretched and began to walk around, noding in greeting to his sister who stopped tearing at the leather long enough to nod back and continued to tear and shake it as if she was pretending it was some enemy.

Segler relaxed and said, "I'm Segler. Don't get your hopes up too high though, our leader still has to approve."

Kaplan stared intensely at the dog with his lips lowered a bit and twitching, wanting submission. He noticed Coyote hardly make the dog move.

Axle finally arrived at the scene where she decided it'd be best to stay out of it and watch.

"huh okay Segler" he said in a freindly yet nervour tone " and what might your name be?" he said to the dog walking next to him.

Olivia stomped up to the large doberman and grabbed his long tail. She pulled at it and growled.

ghost wagged his tail a little but stood in tha same spot a bit nervous that the two dogs would attack him 'maybe ill wait here' ears fold bak looking around

Teokai had wandered aimlessly around the area. 'Nothing but decrepit buildings and cars.' she grumbles softly. Her ears perked to the sound of dogs. She raised her head and padded over to where the sounds came from, but cautious if it was dangerous to give in to her curiousity. She crouched down as low as she could and shuffled over to the noises of other dogs. She peeked her head over to take a look.

Kyra looked over at the german shepherd, and watched silently, not sure what was going to happen.

Helios huffed and stopped her growling. Who knew, maybe this new dog would prove useful. She glanced at the spitz. 'At least he isn't hostile,' she thought.

Smoke sat and stared, and a smaller white dog padded up behind him.

Shadow twitched at the sudden pain in his tail and turned his head to see the small pup chewing on it.
"Oh, you think you can just pull on my like that?" He asked playfully, suddenly jumping around with his tail in the air, chest to the ground, and growling playfully at the pup.

"I'm Keeley." she replied, eyeing the finnish spitz.

As the approached the howler path, Helios carefully eyed the long strip. She was fairly used to these things, but they still weren't very pleasant.

ghost watches and slowly trots to shadow and olivia and wagging his tail. He barks at the two dogs and gets in a playful position

Coyote stared, hopeless at the dog. He was terrible at fighting. He backed away quickly, under a shadow from a building.

Olivia growled and threw her forepaws onto Shadow's lowered head yipping, "You're it!" She waggled her whole body as she pounded outside

"Keeley eh?" he said glancing back at the Lab who eyed him suspiciously " pleasure to meet you I guess".

Shadow sees ghost and barks in a playful manner at him in reply, wagging his long tail.

@Quad dude, Helios is pretty fast if she can get all the way to the top-left corner that quick. XD They're near the bottom left where the green triangle is

Shadow barked and ran full speed after Olivia his chain flying behind him as he began to chase her outside the den.
"Better run fast little one, or I'll sn.atch you right up!"

(Really bad storms here. Blackouts across the whole northern Florida and whatnot. Downed trees everywhere. I had to lug a huge limb off my car :/ )

Ghost wags his tail furiously and excited. He jumps around shadow and picks up a random stick. His fur is reddish brown and white but its stained in dirt

"As you. What's your name again?" Keeley replied.

Olivia wondered for the slightest of seconds whether they should really let strange dogs so close to the den but forgot and started sniffing around and exploring

Teokai wwondered if the dogs were hostile. They didn't seem to be but she couldn't help but feel a little bit of tension with confronting them. But she wouldn't know unless she tried to approach them. She got up and carefully padded over to them "Hey." She barked. Without knowing she slightly raised her tail as it curls a little more in a dominant stance as she tried to remain calm.

"Carson " he spoke loudly over his shoulder. He turned to Segler and slightly sped up "How long until we get to this camp of yours?"Carson said in a calm tone.

Kaplan eyed the dogs sus.pic.iously and noticed the newer dog was too large for the food available. "Who are you? All of you."

Coyote noticed the new dog and all of his nervousness faded. "Are you okay?" he asked, glancing at her nose.

Segler turned and barked, "It'll be a while. We're patrolling. What's the hurry?"

Helios trotted stiffly beside Segler, keeping a wary and watchful eye ahead of her. Her ears were pricked forward, listening for any noises, just in case.

Kyra licked her nose once more and looked at coyote. "I'm fine..it's just a scratch" she said, trying to ignore the strong pain. Then she looked at Kaplan and said "I'm Kyra".

Smoke dipped his head, "Apologies," he said in his thick German accent, "I zought you vere vun of ze zick dogs I've zeen aroun' 'ere."
The white b*tch watched, her head tilted.

"Oh no hurry "He said "the longer the better" grinning a bit. He loved the fact that he could walk just a bit longer before meeting their 'pack'. He wanted to make a better impression and not be so irritable.

Kaplan nodded stiffly at the dark male; he didn't even hear Kyra. "What do you want and who are you?"

Kyra wagged her tail a little, happy this dog was so friendly. "nice to meet you."

even if i said i was a trans, it would of been lying none the less. while yes i did become transgender soon after, at that time it would of been a lie. i should of been truthful from the very beginning. i realized that and thats why i told you the truth. i knew if i kept lying, kept telling you i was something i was not, you would never ever forhive me, thats why i told you. plus, you taught me a valuable lesson, to not lie. now i have my best friend of all time ( @spacepod) and we tell the truth. we have skyped hundreds of times too.
