They were friends growing up, but one day they went to go get food from a nearby town. They stole meat from a shop were chased and attacked by a big pack of wolves. Bangs lost her right eye, while Crash lost both eyes due to the attack. Bangs grew her bangs out to cover her eyepatch, so she earned the nickname Bangs.
