disrespectful! by Raveekajii
**This is a vent post. It may offend some people.**
What have colors come to? I see people beg for gold stars on a daily basis by repeatedly posting the same crap over and over asking everyone "please like, it matters so much." To me this is seriously disrespectful towards artists who earns them by actually making drawings worth liking. Why does these likes matter so much to you? How about drawing, because it's something you love to do?? I have never posted a complaint before, but I felt like this needs to be said. If you're begging for it, you don't deserve it!

Thanks for the likes, I guess. But it doesn't count as an accomplishment, as this post is simply meant as an opinion/ vent post, were a lot of people happend to agree with the subject.

I totally agree, it is nice and all to know that people like your art, but when you beg for it, often it's not that they like your art, it's that they are liking your picture because you asked them to!
Also, colors is about art, it's not a competition! ;)

I agree but in the same time disagree. If people worked very hard and write please like, not on the painting, then its not really begging. Its just asking people to like because they worked very long and hard. But if people scribble something and then write " Omg guiz please like!" on the painting then they don't deserve any stars.

i agree with wlp i would be mad if this was the picture i did that got a gold star. i have never solicited likes on here but i like recognition and i can understand wanting people to like pictures i did. i have spent hours on pictures that only got a few likes then i see stuff that clearly is not good that has a million likes so it almost doesnt make any sense that i can see whatever nevermind who cares
