Hi Psicoero his full name was Maurits Cornelis Escher born 17 June 1898 and died 27 March 1972 at the age of 73 one of my favourite artist he was an artistic genious and sketched many a famous picture, i recreated one of his pieces not so long back called drawing hands http://colors.collectingsmiles.com/details/28924-Drawing_Hands_by_MickyDuff.php theres lots of info on wilkpedia aswell hope this helps :o)
