The crazy man kept injecting some weird glowing stuff in him. Which mutated him & caused his eyes to change color accdording to mood & to change form. (<-eyes that is) and it's why he's so tall. He couldn't get out of this place... He was stuck. He couldn't do anything to defend. The man had him in hostagd 24/7. Years & Years later, Sai had to stay & live with that crazy man, he even forgot his own age, until the man eventually died, then he was finally free, except he realized the monster he has become, but he tries even to this day to as human as possible.
