Nicole is a very personal and important character to me for a wide variety of reasons, even though i made her back before i knew that the way 14 year olds were represented in anime wasnt accurate.

also while im thinking about it:
i don't think my protags are particularly physically strong, but i don't think theyre particularly emotionally strong too. Nicole here cries easily and is very open. Her powers are mostly defensive (although in story she ends up being the only one to actually kill something bc if she didnt Rail was definetly gonna get dead) and she opposes violence at all cost. She's usually the first to ask whats wrong, or more deeply into a situation. Which is why shes able to keep the Worlds from being destroyed for the final time, because unlike the others before her, she choose to listen to others! The others were similiar to her, but they choose to work by themselves instead of letting their friends tag along. They missed so many things because of it, but I guess it worked out in the end.

you have an excellent daughter! my favourite stories are definitely ones that acknowledge bad things about life but in the end are hopeful.

she is precious...also like, in story it's supposed to kinda be a "learning from past mistakes" type thing, although not entirely intentionally!
