Cool. I thought this might have been rodo or something (3ds doesn't have the right characters to spell his name). Having this cinematic feel is definitely more interesting, you could even try painting black bars to make it "widescreen."
@M.Collins Thank you, I guess it comes down to practice to some extent (perspective drawing, rendering, etc.). But I tend to simplify a lot of things for example: if I had drawn the figure in the foreground without a robe, it would take me another 30 min at least but since it wasn't the focal point, I felt alright with just suggesting the figure under a robe. I often do things like that.
I don't think my lighting or drawing skills are anywhere near as good as I want them to be, but I find exploration and learning very enjoyable so I don't let it bother me too much.
@=Jack= Yeah, people keep requesting that. I don't think I have done anything here, as of yet, that I would really want to spend more time on. It would be the case of "polishing a turd" which is a pretty fruitless time sink in my opinion.
I will probably do a more "finished" piece here at some point, because finishing is also an important skill that takes practice. But I'll get there when I get there.
@Shieto Thank you! I'm sorry, I have grown pretty attached to my hand ...

I don't know how you get the lighting and shapes so perfect from imagination but kudos!

@animeheart Thank you~
@asassin667 Hm shame, not sure who rodo is. Haha yeah, that's a nice effect; wish Colors had better options for screen proportions.
@Elsola Thanks! I'm very happy to hear that.

I think it would be fantastic to take a few of your favourite pieces at some point and spend a really long time developing them.
