*vance grunts a bit holding a cut on his arm* ouch.. that.. kinda hurts..

"Vance!" Rusalka trotted up to him on her horse, bringing the finnicky mare to a halt. She slid off her back as soon as Kenley was still enough, scrambling over to her friend. "Are you alright? How deep is it? Ooh, you were being too reckless!" The worried troubadour continued blabbering on and on, moving his hand away from the cut and looking over it.

*he forces a laugh*

"Don't ever underestimate a wound..." She sighed, calming herself a little. "I'm fine, thanks to you." She turned to glance at her horse. "Just a little jostled..."

oh thank gods.. *sighs slightly and touches a bleeding cut on his face* rusalka.. what would i do if something happened to you? if it did get to you before i did?

"Nothing too rash, I would hope." Rusalka chuckled, turning back to him. "Your face is bleeding, too..."

rusalka.. its just a scratch.. cuts heal..

but.. if something happened to you.. i would never heal..

"N... Never heal..? Vance, don't... Don't say that..." She swallowed harshly, casting her gaze downwards. "You know that no one's safety is guarenteed on the battlefield..."

perhaps not.. but.. at least let me promise to be there for you always rusalka..
*he slips a small ring out of his pocket* i mean its not much.. but-i tried my best when i made it.. *he blushes harshly*

"You... You made this..?" She murmured. "You..?"
She was silent for a few moments, staring wide eyed at Vance and the ring.
After a few moments she silently stepped towards him and gingerly wrapped her arms around him, cheeks almost as red as her clothes. "Yes... Of course, Vance. Of course I will."

*he smiles* i love you rusalka..and i promise to protect and cherish you forever

"I love you, too..." She gave him a tiny squeeze. "Just... Don't get too reckless. I won't forgive you if you go out there and get yourself killed."

*laughs* no promises.. however i sense my demise when we tell your brother

"Aland is not as bad as you make him out to be. He has his reasons for acting the way he does." She huffed. "It will be fine."

*coughs and looks down* he threw a rock at me the other day..
*shakes his head smirking* alright i promise to ease up on him a bit. if he does the same ^-^
