I'm pretty impatient with shinies so I only try to find them with the Pokeradar because you're almost guaranteed to find one if you do it right. I've found 2 so far aha (a Zoroark and a Noctowl)
I also have 2 from chain fishing (a Barboach and Remoraid). but the glorified happiness isn't there in chain fishing haha
I tried hatching for an Espurr but gave up after about 10 eggs <xD
