The mermaid castle is built in an island.

This is a cross-section at or right below sea level, except some of the passageways are lower. There are additional storage areas at a lower level, and some recreational or observation areas above the water level.

The brown areas are caves, so they have a "ceiling." Unlabeled rooms are bedrooms or offices.

I still haven't made a name for the country....
