Daily 33 by Papercut

I considered starting this painting over at one point, but decided to spend some extra time to try and salvage it instead. It probably ended up being more time efficient that way, and I think learning how to save a bad drawing is a good skill to practice.

Cool. Reminds me of some kind of aztec thing or something. I try to paint quickly, but they always look a bit more "finished" than I'd like, especially when it come to portraits.

I find that the best way to make something look loose, is to spend more time thinking about each brush stroke rather than less. Using fewer but more decisive strokes, picking the right values and colors carefully etc.

Wonderful. Reminds me of the structures in the level 'delta halo' in Halo 2!

@Krazy Katt111 Thank you, yeah those levels where pretty cool!

@Lilyflower I haven't done that in Colors, but it's a good suggestion. I'll try to incorporate that in one of these.
