Re: KEINUS KEINUS KEINUS. WHERE DO I START.
Keinus are a doglike species I made up, with ironic deaths. Each Keinu is based off of an obscure concept, occurence, or such happening in the world. A few examples are perfect darkness, stained glass, the concept of fear, or flickering lights. Their abilities, what they can use with their "theme", are called Abstractions. However, it's not all sunshine and rainbows for these creatures. Each Keinu has a dark part of their Abstraction, their soul. That darkness is the Obscurity. When a Keinu overuses their Abstraction, their soul gets exhausted. Thus, they must retreat into their subconscious for a short while, until they recover. The Obscurity then takes charge and basically wreaks havoc until the Keinu is back.
If you want to read more, I have a post about Keinus. The info on Keinu history is old info, and needs updating, but the rest is fine. Just look in the #keinu tag and find the post with "Keinu info!" on it.
