The enderman's freind was climbing on some vines one morning a little bitt after it rained, and was nearly to the top of the tree, when he lost his footing. He fell into deep water, and panicked when he could not touch. The enderman saw what happened and swam out to him and brought him to shore, only to find that in his freinds panic, he had inhaled some water and was unresponsive.... The enderman tried to revive his freind, but could not.... Seeing what happened, he creid long into the night, to when he finally decided to bury his freind deep in the forest. However, he hinself was killed by zombie before he could properly bury his freind. His spirit was left to wander, finding ir's way into the nether to hide.

He created a form of himself later on, as he still wanted to put his freind to rest. He created tall, black, thin creatures as manifestations of himself to try and collect dirt and other items to fill the hole and create a proper grave for his friend. He made the manifestations black to hide from sight so no one would find his friends grave and destroy it, and gave it the ability to teleport so he could not be seen during daytime. His manifestations are peaceful, but if harmed, they attack with full force to kill whomever attacked them and halted their progress of finishing the tomb. They cannot touch water though, as it reminds them of his friends unfortunate death, and hurts the poor being's soul.... However, from all the years that passed since his friend died, he forgot where the tomb was, which leads him to place items in random locations, not knowing what else to do. The endermqn has a sad past, yes.... but it cannot be healed unless he were to put his friend finally to rest...

And since that day, the Kill the Enderman movement continues on...but in vain...
